Shot, edited, and scored entirely in 48 hours, The Shaman, makes physical a man’s standard-issue neuroses and has him do battle with an ocean born guru. The guru has some good advice on life, whilst his fashion sense is dubious. A great achievement to have produced a film with a thoughtful message, vast locations and set-ups, a huge cast and crew in such a limited time frame.
