Submit Film
Campfire is not YouTube
Campfire is designed for short films which generate stimulating and positive discussion about matters of faith. But please note that hosting your short film on Campfire is not automatic. A film will be hosted if it meets the following general criteria:
- It is of 10 minutes duration or less (and less than 100Mb in size)
- It promotes constructive discussion about faith, spirituality or ideology
- It does not incite violence or hatred towards any other religion or faith
The site moderator will use their discretion and be the final arbiter on what films ultimately get hosted. As part of the submission process, you will be required to have an account with us. To get an account, you will need to agree to the terms of use.
That said, we are always looking for new, stimulating and creative ways of exploring issues of faith, spirituality and ideology through the medium of short film – regardless of your background or particular persuasion. So give us a go!
Films that meet the above criteria will be hosted on the site on the ‘Newly Submitted’ page. Every short film posted here will then be considered for featuring on the main page for the next festival (‘Current festival’). Join us!
2/7/07 update - please note that we send off the 5 finalist films for essayists to preview on DVD marked "PREVIEW ONLY" in preparation for festival launch. If you object to this, please let us know.
